National Council of Jewish Women's South Cook Section annually presents a Closing Award Ceremony including the installation of Executive Officers and our Board of Directors for the upcoming term. The upcoming budget will also be distributed. This is an opportunity for our membership to applaud these dedicated individuals for their time, and professionalism in creating, organizing, and oftentimes chairing our many community service and advocacy programs and events. Traditionally, this event is a Brunch with invitations being mailed to in-state members, information posted in our Bulletin, and posted on this website event page.

2024 Closing Ceremony BRUNCH details

$36 per person* - Register by May 23rd

We are collecting donations for the Albine Gerson Layette Project.

This project distributes a beautifully wrapped starting kit (designated as Summer or Winter) for new mothers who complete Aunt Martha's Health and Wellness Prenatal course.

Items we need: receiving blankets, blankets, snowsuits, sweaters or jackets under 18 months, hooded towels, hats,

bibs, and socks.

Monetary donations earmarked for Layette are always appreciated.
