| Welcome to the South Cook Section! - As we begin our 87th year in the south suburbs of Chicago, our members are involved in numerous programs, schools and projects that reflect the values of NCJW. All our projects address issues of improving the quality of life of women, children and families. We are advocates as court watchers; we are tutors, readers, and art appreciation volunteers; we serve on local boards to establish new directions for businesses and social service organizations, especially those serving youth and young parents; our traveling players entertain special needs populations at various centers; we support local emergency shelters and our entire Section strives to raise resources for 17 different social service agencies that positively impact families and individuals in our community. |
